Movie: Blue

I had attended the preview of bollywood movie Blue here in Germany. All I can say is, for an Indian movie, this one raises the benchmark in terms of production values but if we dig deeper, we will come out disappointed. The movie, though being technically brilliant in parts, does not have the backing of a strong script.
The movie follows a typical premise of a treasure hunt and spends much of its time in building the story towards it. One of the big positives to the movie is its location. By ensuring that most of the movie is shot in Bahamas, makers have ensured that audience sails past the loose ends of the movie through the scenic beauty of the place.
Nevertheless, due credit must be given to the sincerity of the director, this being his debut.
